Live-action adaptation of the 1937 Disney animated film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” Following comments by Peter Dinklage alleging that the original film portrayed dwarves in a negative light, Disney announced on January 25, 2022: that they would be approaching the characters differently, while also consulting with members of the dwarfism community. Many fans of the original, including Dylan Postl, pointed out that many of Dinklage’s remarks were incorrect. For one, he said that the dwarves did not live in a cave.
