Who We Are

To create innovative, community-based services and decent, affordable housing that enhance the quality of life for children, youth and families, including low and moderate income people.

We are a community based 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization focused on empowering youth and strengthening families.

Our Mission

To create innovative, community-based, safe and affordable housing options with wrap-around support services that enhance the quality of life for residents of underserved communities, including low/moderate income people and justice impacted individuals.

CRWorks Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit established in 2002 in Indiana and 2013 in Illinois. CRWorks work collaboratively with other community stakeholders to provide housing and wrap-around services in disproportionately impacted communities of color. Since 2002, CRWorks has provided quality community-based programs that “push the limit” in addressing issues facing children, youth, justice impacted individuals, and families, establishing long standing relationships within the communities and other service providers.

Our innovative programs utilize an integrated continuum of care framework, which addresses barriers faced by our target population. These barriers impede this group from becoming self-sufficient. By providing an array of programs that support educational, technical skills training, healthcare, employment and legal aid, CRWorks and its partners work to ensure that underserved individuals living in the Chicagoland South suburbs and NWI will have the whole person support they need to succeed in their communities.
